Quantum Hall ground states and regular graphs

چکیده
We show that every uniform state on the sphere is essentially a superposition of regular graphs. In addition, we develop graph-based ansatz to construct trial FHQ ground states sharing local properties Jack polynomials. particular, our graphic have (k,r) clustering property. Moreover, subclass construction realizable as densest zero-energy model modifies projection Hamiltonian.

Fractional Quantum Hall Effect States as Exact Ground States
We construct many particle Hamiltonians for which the Laughlin and Jain wavefunctions are exact ground states. The Hamiltonians involve fermions in a magnetic field and with inter-particle interactions. For the Laughlin wave-functions and unprojected Jain wave-functions, the interactions involve twoand three-body correlations similar to the Chern-Simons interactions, whereas for the projected J...
متن کاملAnisotropic Ground States of the Quantum Hall System with Currents
Anisotropic states at half-filled third and higher Landau levels are investigated in the system with a finite electric current. We study the response of the striped Hall state and the anisotropic charge density wave (ACDW) state against the injected current using the effective action. Current distributions and a current dependence of the total energy are determined for both states. With no inje...
متن کاملRegular quantum graphs
We introduce the concept of regular quantum graphs and construct connected quantum graphs with discrete symmetries. The method is based on a decomposition of the quantum propagator in terms of permutation matrices which control the way incoming and outgoing channels at vertex scattering processes are connected. Symmetry properties of the quantum graph as well as its spectral statistics depend o...
متن کاملIllumination of Quantum Hall States
We show that illumination by continuous white radiation saturates the population of levels so that some of the transitions are not observed. This reduces the number of observable transitions so that the resolution of neighboring transitions is improved. In the case of ν = 11/2 the improved resolution leads to clear observation of zero in the ρxx which appears as a finite resistivity minimum in ...
متن کاملHalf-polarized quantum hall states.
We report a theoretical analysis of the half-polarized quantum Hall states observed in a recent experiment. Our numerical results indicate that the ground state energy of the quantum Hall nu = 2 / 3 and nu = 2 / 5 states versus spin polarization has a downward cusp at half the maximal spin polarization. We map the two-component fermion system onto a system of excitons and describe the ground st...
